Office Roles Estimating Estimator/Account Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attending construction tender site meetings as well as working directly with building owners.
  • Providing fast accurate pricing for all projects.
  • Assembling detailed quotations and budget presentation reports.
  • Communicating with clients, consultants, engineers throughout the bidding portion of potential projects.
  • Develop new client relationships while maintaining our current client base.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma a must. College degree a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ construction/renovation estimating experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of various trades (framing, drywall, painting, EIFS, tiling, carpentry, etc.
  • Ability to read and comprehend bid specifications and contract documents. Accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprint drawings. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to clients, consultants, and other employees within the company as needed.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems in a creative manner. Must be a problem solver.
  • Ability to relate well to all kinds of people, can build constructive and effective relationships using diplomacy and tact.
  • Must be a self-motivated person with the ability to work at fast-paced professional level.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Field Roles Services Handyman Services/General Laborer

Full time, long term employment opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A focus on painting, drywall repairs and exterior stucco repairs (EIFS).
  • Painting – ceilings, walls, doors, trim.
  • Spraying experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Drywall patch repair – cutting old, damaged drywall and replacing with new.
  • Familiar with taping/mudding with plaster and sanding until smooth.
  • Familiar with handyman work and light repairs but not required.
  • Comfortable working off ladders, scaffold, scissor lifts and zoom boom and roof levels.
  • Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
  • Familiar with paints and general construction/maintenance materials.
  • Kneels, crouches, stoops when preparing surfaces.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. (sometimes repeatedly throughout the day.)

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be able and willing to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation that may include weekend and/or overnight work.
  • Travel may be required throughout the province
  • Reliable, punctual, responsible, solid work ethics.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to provide stellar customer service.
  • Must have the ability to work on teams!
  • Own transportation is an asset
  • Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy
